NEET AYUSH Counselling 2022: Overview
As per the notification “AACCC-UG Counselling schedule 2022” released by AACCC on its official website (visit official notification here – https://bit.ly/3raI6yp ), the AYUSH 2022 counselling will be started from 29th January, 2022.
Only NEET 2022 entrance exam qualified candidates are only entitled to register themselves on the official website of AACCC. Admission to undergraduate courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy will be conducted in four rounds namely – Round-1, Round-2, Mop-up/ Round-3, and Stray Vacancy Round. Candidates should note that the Refundable Security deposits and Non-Refundable registration fees have to be paid at the time of registration as per the category they belong to.
For participation in the NEET AYUSH 2022 counselling process, candidates need to register first on the official website of AACCC – aaccc.gov.in. The registration process for NEET Ayush-UG counselling 2021 for admission to the 15 percent AIQ seats in government, central universities, and private colleges will be held online with two rounds. For deemed/central universities and private colleges, the mop-up round of counselling will be conducted.

NEET AYUSH Counselling 2022: Important Dates
BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS courses admission in India will be on the basis of the NEET 2022 scores. All students who have qualified in NEET 2022 are eligible to participate in AYUSH Counselling for admission. The schedule and dates for AYUSH Counselling 2022 will be started from January 29, 2022.
Below is the tentative schedule for AYUSH NEET Counselling 2022:

AYUSH Counseling Rounds
- Three rounds of AIQ online counseling i.e. Round 1, Round 2, Round 3/Mop Up Round
- Vacant seats under AIQ after 3rd /Mop-Up Round of AACCC AYUSH counseling shall be transferred to the respective states.
2. CENTRAL UNIVERSITIES/NATIONAL INSTITUTES (100%)
- Four rounds of counseling i.e. Round 1, Round 2, Round 3/Mop-Up Round, and Stray Vacancy Round.
- AACCC will conduct Round 1, Round 2, Round 3/Mop-Up Rounds online.
- Respective Central University/National Institute shall conduct the stray vacancy round.
3. DEEMED UNIVERSITY (100%)
- For admission to deemed university, there will be four rounds of counseling i.e. Round 1, Round 2, Round 3/ Mop-Up Round and Stray Vacancy Round.
- AACCC will conduct counselling up to Round 3/Mop-Up via online mode.
- The Stray Vacancy round shall be conducted by the respective Deemed Universities.
- All UG/PG seats of Deemed Universities are un-reserved, i.e., reservation policy of Central Govt. is not applicable. All candidates (including OBC / SC/ ST) have to fulfill the eligibility criteria as General Category norms.
AYUSH Counselling 2022: Rounds Options
There will be four rounds in total for Ayush 2022 counselling. Candidates who register online for AYUSH UG courses will be eligible for the first round of counselling. Applicants will have to decide whether to remain in the seat allotted to them or to upgrade. Such candidates have the following options.
1st Option: Candidates opt not to participate in the next round of counseling and accept the seat allotted to them.
2nd Option: The candidates opt to remain with the allotted seat but desire to upgrade in the next round.
3rd Option: The candidate decides to resign from the seat allotted but wants to apply again in the next round.
4th Option: Candidates can choose to resign from their allocated seats and can exit the counselling process
Note: In the next round, candidates who have chosen 2nd or 3rd Options will have to fill in their choices. Candidates who selected the 1st Option are required to report to the allotted institute before the deadline. If they fail to report within the allotted time, their admission will be cancelled. Failing to participate in the next round will also result in cancellation of their AYUSH counselling 2021 selection process.

AYUSH Counselling 2022: Eligibility Criteria
To participate in the counselling of AYUSH UG course, a candidate has to meet the following eligibility requirements:
- He/she must have qualified NEET 2022
- He/she must be at least 17 years old as on December 21, 2021
He/she must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as core subjects

NEET AYUSH-UG Counselling 2022: Application Form & Registration Fees
The application / registration link for Ayush counselling 2022 will be available on the official website of AACCC on 29-Jan-2022. Visit aaccc.gov.in to register first. To apply for the counselling of AYUSH UG courses, the candidates need to first register themselves on the official website of AACCC. To register, they will have to provide necessary information as mentioned below.

- Date of birth
- Mobile number
- Email ID
- NEET roll number
After completing the registration process, they will have to login using the NEET 2022 roll number and the new password, and complete the application form.
Before they can finally submit the AYUSH counselling application, they will have to pay a non-refundable registration fee. They will also have to deposit security money for participating in the counselling process.

AYUSH 2022 Counselling: Choice Filling
After completing the application form and depositing the security fee, candidates will have to fill their choices in a Preference Form. They will have to provide the course-college options that they would like to apply for. There is no limit on the number of choices that a candidate can fill in the preference form. However, candidates are advised to go through the fee structure of the college and the curriculum of the course that they intend to apply for.
No filling the choices will lead to disqualification of the said candidate from the AYUSH counselling process. Also, candidates must lock the choices that they have filled before the last date to ensure that they have filled the correct options.

AYUSH Admissions: The Process of Counselling
All the candidates who register for the counselling of AYUSH UG courses online will be eligible to participate in the first round of counselling. Selected candidates will have to choose whether they want to continue with the seat allotted to them or opt for up-gradation. The options available for such candidates are:
Option 1: Candidate chooses to continue with the seat allotted and does not wish to participate in the next round of counselling
Option 2: Candidate chooses to continue with the seat allotted but wishes to upgrade in the next round
Option 3: Candidate chooses to resign from the seat allotted but wants to participate in the next round
Option 4: Candidate chooses to resign from the seat allotted and wants to exit the counselling process
Candidates who have chosen option 2 or 3 will have to fill in the choices for the next round. Candidates who have chosen option 1 will have to report to the allotted institute before the last date. Failing to report before in the allotted time will lead to cancellation of their admission. They will also not be eligible to participate in the next rounds.
