BAMS Admission Eligibility
Eligibility Criteria for BAMS Ayurveda Admissions 2022 as per Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Bangalore, Karnataka. Below details are as per RGUHS, Bangalore Regulations Governing B.A.M.S. Degree Course. Eligibility for admission to BAMS course in Ayurvedic Medical Colleges of Karnataka are given as per the latest norms of CCIM, Ministry of AYUSH, New Delhi.
“For Academic Session 2022, students must have appeared and secured a minimum qualifying score in NEET 2022 Entrance course For Admission To AYUSH Courses.”
ELIGIBILITY – BAMS ADMISSION 2022 In Karnataka
- To study BAMS course in Ayurveda colleges/ universities, candidates should clear Class 12 in Science stream with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) subjects from the recognised board.
- The minimum percentage that students require in Class 12 Physics, Chemistry and Biology subject to be eligible for BAMS course admissions is 50%. However for SC/ST category students, minimum marks required in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subject is 40% only if they apply for BAMS admission through All India 15% conducted by AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC).
- For BAMS management quota Admissions students (irrespective of their category) must secure a minimum 50% marks in class 12 Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects.
- Candidates must qualify in NEET 2022 entrance exam to be eligible to apply for merit and management quota BAMS admission in Ayurvedic medical colleges in Karnataka.

The structure of BAMS syllabus is designed for 4 years and 6 months duration. Students will be taught about the basic subjects and the sanskrit subject in the initial years along with the practical subjects. from the second onwards students learn about the other non clinical and clinical subjects.
