The following are the important dates of Bihar NEET-UG Counselling, 2023:
Eligibility Criteria For Bihar MBBS 2023
The eligible candidates who are willing to apply for MBBS in Bihar for the year 2023, must meet the below mentioned eligibility criteria:
- The candidate should be a citizen of India.
- The candidate must be qualified for NEET 2023 and should have obtained a valid score in it.
- The candidate should have attained the age of 17 years on or before 31st Dec, 2023.
- The candidate should pass class 12/10+2/PU 2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as compulsory subjects.
- Candidate must be from Bihar.
Exceptions:
- The candidate’s parents are from Bihar.
- The candidate’s parents work in Bihar government.
- The candidate’s parents are employees of central government and are posted in Bihar.
Application/Registration Fee for Bihar NEET-UG Counselling, 2023
The application/registration fee is not refundable. The candidate can pay this fee either offline, whereby he should take a print of the bank challan or pay online via net banking/debit card/credit card/UPI.
Bihar NEET-UG Counselling 2023 Registration Process
The candidates can follow the steps below to apply/register online for the Bihar NEET Counselling, 2023:
STEP 01: Registration
The candidate must visit the official website of BCECEB, bcecebboard.bihar.gov.in, and register using their mobile phone number and email ID. Make sure that you give the correct information, because an ‘activation code’ will be sent to the registered mobile number and email ID. The activation code is sent to activate the account, after which you should press the ‘submit’ button. Later, you should sign in by entering your email address and password to access the application form. The email address will be used as the user name of the candidate.

STEP 02: Personal Information
At this stage, the candidate should fill his personal details in the application form which includes his father’s name, mother’s name, contact details, address, date of birth, educational qualification information, etc. Then the candidate should click “save and continue” for the next step.
STEP 03: Uploading a Photo and Signature
The candidate must upload the scanned images of his/her photograph and signature. The photo must be a passport-sized one with a placard containing the candidate’s name and snapping date at the bottom. And the signature (full name) should be done in Hindi as well as English, but not in capital letters. After uploading, click the “save and continue” button.
STEP 04: Educational Information
The candidate should now enter the educational information including the details of the institute from which he/she has passed out in class 10 and 12, and also the marks obtained in the respective classes.
STEP 05: Preview the application
Once all the information is entered in the form, at this step, the candidate is required to verify it all and check whether the information entered is correct or not. If he finds any incorrect piece of information, the candidate must click the “back to edit” button and make the required changes. To update the modified information, the candidate should press the “save and continue” button. Later, after everything is right, he must click “confirm and submit” to proceed with the next step.
STEP 06: Payment of Counselling Fee
The candidate must click “proceed with payment” to pay the counselling fee. This fee isn’t refundable under any situation. The counselling fee is Rs. 600 for SC/ST and Rs. 1200 for all the other categories. The candidates can pay the fee via:
- Online mode: He/she must select the online payment mode, e.g. debit card/credit card/net banking/UPI. When opting for online payment, they should also pay a processing fee.
- Offline mode: This involves depositing the counselling fee in the bank, whereby the candidate should take a print out of the bank challan and upload it’s scanned copy.
STEP 07: Downloading and Printing of the application form
After filling the application form and paying the registration fee, you should download the application form (Part A and Part B), and also maintain a hardcopy of it by taking a printout. This document is vital for further processes as it contains the candidate’s information and UGMAC-ID.
After completing all these steps, your registration to Bihar NEET Counselling 2023 is done.
Choice Filling Procedure
The choice filling procedure will commence after the registration of the candidates is complete. Below is the process of choice filling:
- At this point, the registered candidates fill in their desired choices of colleges and courses.
- The candidates can prioritize their choices and they do not have any limit to the number of selection of choices.
- To fill in the choices, they have to log in using their password and UGMAC ID provided earlier.
- Candidates have to lock their options after selecting them. They are also allowed to modify it within the given time period.
- Later, seats are allotted for the students. Those who are not satisfied with their seats go for second round.
- In the second round too choice filling is done by those candidates who didn’t select any option in the first round and by those who weren’t satisfied by the seat allotment. After which the seat allotment list is out.
- The next is mop-up round, where only those candidates who didn’t select any option in the first and second round do the choice filling. This is the last round to select and and lock your options.
- The seat allotment list will be released.
Documents Required
During the Bihar NEET Counselling process 2023, you will be called for offline document verification once the seat allotment list is out, wherein you have to submit the original documents along with their photocopies. In this process, the original documents will be verified and given back to the candidate, and the photocopies of the same will be retained for further procedure. Submit the following documents:
✔ NEET 2023 admit card.
✔ NEET 2023 scorecard.
✔ Marks sheet of grade 10 and 12.
✔ Valid photo ID proof (PAN card/driving license/ voter ID/ passport/ aadhar card/ ration card).
✔ Study certificate.

✔ Proof of counselling fee payment.
✔ Six passport-sized recent photos which were used in the application form.
