The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has officially released the notification No. ED/KEA/UGNEET-AYUSH/2025 dated 06 November 2025, announcing the UG NEET 2025 Stray Vacancy Round for AYUSH courses — including BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, and BSMS.

 

This round is the final opportunity for students who have not yet secured admission to an AYUSH course in Karnataka. All unfilled, cancelled, and newly added seats after the 3rd round will be available for allotment in this round.

🎯 Eligibility to Participate in Stray Vacancy Round

KEA has specified the following eligibility rules for the AYUSH NEET Stray Vacancy Round 2025:

 

  • Students who have already joined MBBS or BDS colleges (in any previous rounds) are not eligible.
  • Candidates allotted seats under All India Counselling (AIQ), Deemed, or Central Universities are not eligible.
  • Candidates must possess original documents from their current college to participate.
  • Once a seat is allotted in this round, the previous seat stands cancelled and cannot be reclaimed.
  • It is mandatory to report to the newly allotted college. Failure to report leads to loss of both seats and fee forfeiture.

  5. It is mandatory to take admission in the allotted college within the reporting deadline.
  6. Fees paid for other courses cannot be adjusted toward AYUSH admissions.
  7. Candidates failing to report within the stipulated time will lose their seat and fees.
  8. The option entry window will not be extended under any circumstances.
  9. Fresh option entry is compulsory; earlier options will not be considered.
  10. Even if seats are not visible in the seat matrix, students are advised to enter their preferred options, as cancellations and additions may occur later.

Can the fee paid for another course be adjusted for BAMS admission?

No.
As per KEA guidelines, fees paid for other courses (MBBS, BDS, Nursing, etc.) will not be adjusted for AYUSH courses. Students must make a fresh payment for their BAMS admission in Karnataka as per the new allotment.
