KLE University BMK Ayurved Mahavidhyalaya is a unit of KLE University which declares to be Deemed University under the Act of UGC, 1956. KLE University is accredited ‘A’ Grade by NAAC and placed under Category ‘A’ by MHRD of India. Late Sri Basappanna Mallappanna Kankanawadi retired police officer and a great philanthropist, admired diagnosed and treated by an Ayurved physician of his wife, when all other medical systems failed established the institute by donating all his retirement earning of Rs 50000 in a vision to spread and promote the ancient science Ayurveda.
