About Ramaiah

Ramaiah college is one of the most renowned engineering colleges in India. As per MHRD, Govt. of India,2017 Institute has been awarded rank 45 in the country and No.1 among the Engineering colleges under VTU affiliation, Belgavi. Running under the aegis of Gokula Educational foundation, the college is located in the silicon valley of India – Bangalore. From the academic year, 2007-08 college has been granted institute educational autonomy by VTU and UGC.

Minimum eligibility criteria for applying to the programs offered by MSRIT is given below. However, for admission to the desired course, students’ performance in the relevant entrance test will be the criteria.

B.E.	10+2 or equivalent with Physics and maths along with chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science/Electronics. 45% marks required.
B.Arch	10+2 PCM and English with 50% marks (in PCM and aggregate)
M.Tech./M.Arch	B.E./B.tech degree in relevant discipline with 50% marks aggregate.
MBA	3-year bachelor’s degree 50% aggregate marks.
MCA	3 year bachelor’s degree with mathemtics/statistics/computer science/computer Programming/ Computer Applications/ Business Mathematics/ business Statistics). Required: 50% marks aggregate.

MSRIT offers to its students a learning environment supported by world-class infrastructure. MSRIT has an independent placement cell working closely with industries to provide the best opportunities to institutes’ students. The placement cell came into existence in 1997 as a separate entity.
