Eligibility for BTech Direct Admission
BTech direct admission in Bangalore is offered only to those candidates who have minimum eligibility as per the norms of AICTE. Only those candidates can apply for management quota direct admission in engineering colleges.
Below is the minimum eligibility to apply for BTech direct admission:
- Minimum score of 45% in class 12th as an average
- Score of 45% separately in one of the 3 subjects as per the new rules of AICTE
As per old rules, it was compulsory for students to study physics, chemistry and maths in class 12th to be eligible for BTech course admission. But as per the new rules of AICTE, from 2022 Studying only physics, chemistry, maths in class 12 is not mandatory.
