Overview

MAT exam is conducted for admission in MBA and allied programmes. It is conducted in various modes ie. computer-based, internet-based and paper-based. The exam is conducted four times around the year, in the months of February, May, September and December. Dates of registration and exams are released accordingly. One thing to note here is that candidates can also register to appear in more than one mode of examination. The registration process for MAT 2021 February is going on now. Details about Important dates, the detailed application process, required documents are given in this article.

How to Apply for MAT 2021

Candidates can apply for MAT 2021 through official website https://mat.aima.in/
Registration form is to be filled in English language only.
 

Step by Step application procedure for MAT 2021 is as follows:

Step 1 : New Candidates must create a login in the first step.

  • Open the registration page on the official website.
  • Fill a valid email ID and mobile number.
  • Submit the OTP received.
  • Remember the details filled in the registration form.

Step 2: Login in the account to complete the registration process

  • Login to your account with email, password, date of birth.

Step 3: Make Payment

  • Select exam mode, test city choices, payment method.
  • Process the payment by clicking save and next.
  • Payment can be done through Debit Card/ Credit card/ Net Banking/Wallet or UPI

Step 4: Upload Photo and Signature

  • Upload Photo: Passport size photo in .jpg or .jpeg format. Size of the file should be between 10 Kb and 50 Kb.
  • Upload Signature: Upload signature file in .jpg or .jpeg format. File size should be between 5 kb and 20 kb.

Step 5: Fill in the details

  • Personal parrticulars
  • Qualifications
  • Experiences
  • Choices for Management Institutes
  • Candidates opting for double IBT mode can choose 7 management institutes in total to send their scores in.
  • Other Candidates can select 5 Management Institutes to send their scores in.
  • Save your information by clicking SAVE
  • Fill the details carefully.

Step 6: View and Download registration form

  • Candidates can view and take a print out of form for their record after payment.
  • Candidates can also update details except for the name, DOB, email and mobile number.
  • Also, candidates can upgrade exam mode ie. opting for more than one exam mode (Double IBT/PBT+IBT/CBT+IBT). Fe for this upgrade will be INR 1100/-
  • Additional Management Institute choices can also be filled, as many as the candidate wishes, for an additional fee of 188/- INR per choice

Step 7: Download Admit Card from the official website when available.
