Eligibility:

To be eligible for the MBA programs at Dayand Sagar University Bangalore, candidates must have:

A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from any recognized university in India or abroad (recognized by UGC/AIU).
Candidate must have a valid score in NMAT by GMAC™, the official entrance exam for NMIMS University.

NMIMS Bangalore follows a comprehensive selection process to identify candidates with the potential to thrive in its MBA program as mentioned below:

Stage 1: NMAT by GMAC™ Test

All candidates applying to the NMIMS MBA programs must take the NMAT by GMAC™ test. The score of the NMAT by GMAC™ Test for all NMIMS applicants will be submitted by GMAC to NMIMS (Deemed to-be- University).

Stage 2: Shortlisting and Further Evaluation

Shortlisting based on NMAT scores: NMIMS will shortlist candidates based on their performance in the NMAT by GMAC™ test, considering both sectional and total scores.
Selection Process for Shortlisted Candidates: NMIMS conducts the second stage of the selection process for shortlisted candidates.
NMIMS Selection process rounds includes:

Psychometric test
Written aptitude test
Personal interview

The details will be informed subsequently. The selection process is conducted in person, and candidates are required to carry their NMAT by GMAC scorecard.

Stage 3: Final Selection

The final merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained by a candidate in NMAT by GMAC™, personal interview, written aptitude test, psychometric test, work experience, and past academic performance.

The selection criteria will be based on merit only. The decision regarding the cut-off of the merit list will solely lie with NMIMS. Candidates who have applied for more than one Programme / Campus in their application forms will be selected based on their merit score and preferences, and the availability of the seats in the respective programme.
