PESSAT 2021 MBA Overview

PES Scholastic test (PESSAT) is an entrance test for MBA at PES University, Bangalore. It is conducted once a year in CBT mode. PESSAT 2021 registrations have started from 20 Dec 2020. The last date for online registration will be in July 2021. PESSAT test for various programmes will go on from February 2021 to July 2021. Candidates can book a time and date slot to appear in the exam through the official website. There are 120 total questions in the exam from four sections, namely, English Comprehensive/Verbal Ability, Analytical and Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, General Awareness. PESSAT 2021 MBA – Detailed Syllabus

PESSAT 2021 exam will consist of questions for four main sections-

1. English Comprehensive/Verbal Ability
1. Analytical and logical Reasoning
2. Quantitative Reasoning
3. General Awareness

Detailed overview of paper sections:

1. English Comprehensive/Verbal Ability

The section will contain questions that check the comprehension and verbal ability of students. Question topics may include Articles, Tenses, Sentence Correction, English Grammar, One-word Substitution, Jumbled paragraph, Antonym-Synonym etc.

2. Analytical and Logical Reasoning

This section is one of the two highest weighted sections in the exam. It will test the reasoning ability of the candidate, both analytical and logical. Questions asked from this section may include topics like, Analogy Test, Analytical reasoning, Seating arrangements, logical and numerical puzzles etc.

3. Quantitative Reasoning

This is the second section with the highest weightage(40 questions). Questions in this section may be asked from Number System, Menstruation, Fractions and Decimals, Percentages, Averages, Ratio and Proportions, Pie Chart, Bar Chart, Data analysis and Interpretation etc.

4. General Awareness

This section is a test of general awareness with questions from Current Affairs, Topics of general awareness, Polity, Economy, Geography, History and Culture, PIN, Trade awareness, Literature, General Science. etc.
