AMAT Syllabus Overview
AMAT is conducted by Alliance University for admission to its MBA programmes. AMAT 2021 July intake applications are open now. Candidates can register for the test by visiting the official website. The last date for AMAT 2021 July intake application is 15th March 2021. There are five sections in the AMAT question paper. Questions are asked from these five broad topics – Analytical Reasoning, Language Ability, Logical Reasoning, General Awareness, and Quantitative Aptitude. Questions of a total of 65 marks will be asked from these five sections. Moreover, the marking scheme will be such that one mark will be awarded for each correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. The detailed syllabus of these five sections of the AMAT 2021 exam and section-wise weightage is shared in the sections below.

Among the five sections of the paper, four sections- Quantitative, Conceptual, General Knowledge and General English will have questions of 15 marks each. Whereas, the fifth section – the comprehension section will have 5 marks. The table below shows the section-wise break up of marks.
