NMC Proposes Norms for New Medical Colleges

The number of MBBS seats in the country has been increased from just over 51000 in 2914 to almost 9200 for the 2022-23 batch. The government has also supported increase in the number of seats in existing colleges or setting up new colleges with district hospitals.
