Registration process for KEA Karnataka NEET Ug 2024 counselling:
For candidates who have already registered for UGCET 2024 have to just enter correct UGNEET-2024 Roll Number in the online registration link in KEA Web-portal.
Below are the Karnataka NEET counselling 2024 registration steps for candidates who have registered for UGCET 2024:
- Visit KEA official website – kar.nic.in
- Click on the “UGNEET-2024 only Roll Number Entry” online registration link.
- Login with your KCET 2024 user id and password
- Enter your “UGNEET Roll Number” and click on “Check” button
- Candidate’s NEET Score and NEET AIR will be displayed on the screen.
- Verify you NEET score and AIR and then click on “Update NEET Details” button
- Further, click on “Download Application” and save the KEA Karnataka NEET Ug Medical & AYUSH Counselling 2024 application final copy

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has announced the registration schedule for admissions to MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH courses for the academic year 2024-25. This notification is crucial for students interested in pursuing medical or dental education in Karnataka.
Documents Verification Process:
Who do need to come for documents verification process?
- All KCET 2024 registered candidates need not require to verify documents who have completed online verification before.
- Candidates who are claiming Linguistic Minority and Religious Minority and if its printed “YES” in against the Minority Linguistic or Minority Religious reservation in the UGNEET verification slip need not to do verification again.
- Category-1 and Category-9 of St. John Medical College, Bangalore need not appear for verification
Who need to come for documents verification process?
Candidates who are claiming Linguistic Minority and Religious Minority and if its printed as Minority Linguistic – “NO” or “-” or “Blank” in the UGNEET-2024 Verification Slip even though the candidate has claimed Minority Linguistic as Telugu, Tulu, Tamil, Kodava and also mentioned 10 years study details between 1st to 12th standard in the UGCET-2024 application, then they have to come for verification in person to KEA, Bangalore.
Candidates who have claimed Category-2 to category-8 in St. John Medical College, Bangalore, or claimed “Clause-Z” or NRI Ward should appear for verification of documents.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has issued a notification inviting applications for KEA Karnataka NEET Ug Counselling 2024 process. Seat allotment and admission for of MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH (Ayurveda, Unani, and Homeopathy) courses for the academic year 2024 will be only through KEA Karnataka NEET Counselling process. This is the last opportunity for candidates who have not registered for UGCET-2024 but have qualified in UGNEET-2024 to apply.

Important Note: SC/ST/OBC eligibility criteria are applicable to Karnataka domicile candidates only. This means, all non Karnataka students are considered as General category and must have a minimum score of 162 in NEET to be qualified for seat allotment.

Candidates who have not registered for UGCET-2024 but qualified in UGNEET-2024 have to register to become eligible for admission to Medical, Dental and AYUSH courses in Karnataka state.

Important Note:
As per the National Medical Commission (NMC), New Delhi’s letter dated July 24, 2023, all rounds of counseling, including the Stray Vacancy Round, will be conducted online by KEA. Therefore, all UG NEET 2024 qualified candidates are advised to register online and complete the document verification process to be eligible for admission to UG Medical and Dental courses in Karnataka.

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has issued a notification addressing two groups of students: those who haven’t paid the UGCET 2024 application fee and those who missed selecting CET in their combined application. Both groups can now submit their KCET 2024 application in person at the KEA office. Details are available in the official notice.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is providing a final opportunity for students who missed applying for KCET 2024. This applies to two groups:
- Those who failed to make the payment for their KCET application.
- Those who did not select CET during the combined application process.
How to register for KCET 2024 based on latest notice:
- Visit the KEA office in person between April 10th and 12th, by 5 PM each day.
- Submit a completed KCET application form along with a Demand Draft (DD) for INR 600. Make the DD payable to “Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority, Bangalore.”
Important points regarding exam centers:
- Due to the late application stage, exam centers will be assigned based on availability anywhere in Karnataka. Only candidates willing to accept this condition can apply.
- The online application window for KCET has closed, and KEA cannot accommodate changes to the existing database for this late application process.
KCET 2024 Key Dates:
- The KCET exam will be held on April 18th and 19th, 2024.

IIT Guwahati climbs in QS Rankings 2024, placing in the top 210 for Engineering & Technology, 343 for Natural Sciences, and 501-550 for Arts & Humanities.

Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati has been named as one of the world’s top universities for the study of Data Science and Petroleum Engineering subjects, according to the latest edition of the world’s most-consulted university ranking. The 2024 edition of the QS World University Rankings by Subject, compiled by Quacquarelli Symonds, a global higher education analytics firm, named the world’s best universities for the study of 55 academic disciplines.
IIT Guwahati has excelled particularly in Data Science, securing a global ranking of 51-70, and Petroleum Engineering, where it ranks 51-100 globally. Additionally, the Institute has achieved commendable rankings in broad subject areas:
- Engineering & Technology with the rank 210, compared to rank 222 from the last year
- Natural Science with the rank 343, compared to rank 379 from the last year
- Arts & Humanities with the rank 510-550
Furthermore, the Institute has been ranked in the Arts & Humanities category for the first time for Business & Management Studies, and Agriculture & Forestry.
