This notification is important for those students who are:-
- Interested for MBBS, BDS, AYUSH Course admission in Karnataka
- Those who have not registered for UGCET 2024
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has issued a notification inviting applications for KEA Karnataka NEET Ug Counselling 2024 process. Seat allotment and admission for of MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH (Ayurveda, Unani, and Homeopathy) courses for the academic year 2024 will be only through KEA Karnataka NEET Counselling process. This is the last opportunity for candidates who have not registered for UGCET-2024 but have qualified in UGNEET-2024 to apply.

- Candidates who have not registered for UGCET-2024
Important Note: SC/ST/OBC eligibility criteria are applicable to Karnataka domicile candidates only. This means, all non Karnataka students are considered as General category and must have a minimum score of 162 in NEET to be qualified for seat allotment.
Karnataka NEET Medical / AYUSH Counselling 2024 Application Process:
Candidates who have not registered for UGCET-2024 but qualified in UGNEET-2024 have to register to become eligible for admission to Medical, Dental and AYUSH courses in Karnataka state.
How to apply (if you haven’t registered for UGCET-2024):

- Visit KEA official website – kea.kar.nic.in
- Click on “Admission” tab and select “UGNEET-2024” from the drop down’
- Select “UGNEET-2024 new registration” link under the page
- Submit the application online
- Pay the fees
Karnataka NEET Medical & AYUSH Counselling Registration Dates:
According to the official notification (No. ED/KEA/ADMN/CR- /2024) dated August 4, 2024, the application process will be conducted online.
Candidates who have not registered for UGCET-2024 but qualified in UGNEET-2024 have to submit application online and pay the fees to become eligible for admission to Medical, Dental and AYUSH courses

- Non Karnataka candidates can register online on KEA website (if not done earlier) & pay application
- Upload 12th standard marks (PDF) while filling application form
- Pay the application fees
- Download payment receipt and application PDF

Non-Karnataka candidates must register online on the KEA web portal if they have not done so previously.
Registration steps for Non Karnataka students:
- Non Karnataka candidates can register online on KEA website (if not done earlier) & pay application
- Upload 12th standard marks (PDF) while filling application form
- Pay the application fees
- Download payment receipt and application PDF
Documents Verification for Non Karnataka Students:
Non Karnataka students need not appear for verification of documents. Only those Non Karnataka students should appear for document verification at KEA Bangalore only if:
- they are claiming OCI/PIO/NRI/Foreign National category
- They are eligible for NRI Ward, Religious Minority, or St. John Medical College (Category 2-8)
Important Note:
As per the National Medical Commission (NMC), New Delhi’s letter dated July 24, 2023, all rounds of counseling, including the Stray Vacancy Round, will be conducted online by KEA. Therefore, all UG NEET 2024 qualified candidates are advised to register online and complete the document verification process to be eligible for admission to UG Medical and Dental courses in Karnataka.
