B Sc Electronics

Electronics is a branch of science which deals electrical circuits involving active electrical components such as vaccum tubes, transistors, diodes and integrated circuits. This sector provides extensive options for candidates who are interested in manufacturing and designing electronic devices. To do this, the technicians use active devices to control the electron flow by amplification and rectification. Electronics as a field plays a major role in the development of modern society. The field of electronics came into existence through the identification of electron in 1897, along with the invention of vaccum tubes which could amplify and rectify small electric signals. Until 1950, this field was called “radio technology” because its principal application was the design and theory of radio transmitters, receivers, and vacuum tubes. Electronics played a vital role in the invention of our everyday necessary appliances such as Televisions, DVD players, laptops, desktop computers, mobile phones, iPods, iPads, cameras, fans, ovens, washing machines, game consoles, printers, and radios.
