• Above-knee prosthetics – In this one learns about above-knee socket technology. One works extensively on the wear and tear that happens to upper joints of an active upper knew amputee.
• Below-knee prosthetics – Students learn how to develop personalized prosthetics for below-knee amputees. This involves shock-absorbing feet, auto-adjusting feet, etc. One would work with patients to align sockets and prosthetic foot as well as gait training.
• Lower-limb orthotics – In this one works primarily on lower limb abnormal alignments with the use of external devices. It may include designing braces, insoles, etc.

• Hip disarticulation prosthetics – The unique mobility issues faced by those with hip disarticulation amputees are covered in this specialization.
