The prime objective of the course is to develop an understanding of law in a variety of contexts amongst students. Course is regulated by the Bar Council of India which sets rules and regulations regarding legal practice in the country.

Institutional Test (involving objective and subjective- type questions (of weightage 70%). Certain Institutes give admission tests through the Common Entrance Test (CET) like CLAT. To get admission in these institutes candidates would have to qualify the respective entrance exam by securing minimum qualifying marks.
