Diploma in Dialysis Technology

Diploma in dialysis technology is a two-year program intended to create duly trained dialysis technicians for operating in hospitals, medical clinics, dialysis centres, paramedical teaching and others. The programme will allow candidates to get the necessary facilities for carrying out dialysis in severe diseases like renal dialysis and more. This diploma course is also known as Diploma in Dental Technician (DDT).
The course is pursued after class 12th, during which students are trained to facilitate the patients who are undergoing dialysis. This diploma course is skill-based in the area of Dialysis methods and its system. Dialysis is a method that helps move from blood; manage fluid electrolyte and acid-base equilibrium. It also removes extra endogenous and exogenous toxins.

Dialysis is the artificial purifying method of the blood when in the human body, kidneys fail to purify blood due to which renal diseases, kidney failure and other medical conditions occur. With pursuing this course, students will be taught the basic principles of biology. It is a job-oriented Diploma certification program and is a paramedical course. This article will give students an idea about the course. Diploma in dialysis technology is a beginner’s level course for dialysis therapeutic assistance method. Candidates are trained with basic education and facilities in connection to the handling of dialysis devices on a patient. Students can improve their understanding and skills and opt for higher-level certification. The regulatory body for the Diploma in Health Inspector is the Government of Karnataka Para Medical Board
