Diploma in Ophthalmic Technology focuses on eye care and covers topics like eye examination, ocular diseases, vision defects, optics, corrective surgery, etc. Ophthalmic Technology course prepares candidates in fields like examining patients, work on eye testing, treatment of vision problems and other ophthalmic equipment, prescribing, monitoring patients, dispensing spectacles and contact lenses and optometry practices.
Diploma in Ophthalmic Technology course is affiliated to Para Medical Board and approved course from the Government of Karnataka. Students doing diploma in ophthalmic technology are trained to deal with treating all the infections and diseases that occur in our eyes. Ophthalmic technology is a diploma course with duration of 2 years if the student is pursuing the course after class 12th.
