The course is the postgraduate course that can be pursued after obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy. Students pursuing the course will be specialized in pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics. Pharmacodynamics is the study of molecular, biochemical, physiological effects of drugs on the cellular system. After completing the course, students will be able to understand the mechanism of action of drugs, the absorption, excretion, and distribution of the drugs consumed. The students will be dealing with everything related to the drug discovery and manufacturing of medicine.

Students pursuing this course will learn the research, discovery, and characterization of chemicals that show biological effects. Students will also be taught research-based subjects: oncology, fertility, infertility, anti-fertility, diabetes, obesity, and cell line-based molecular research. Moreover, the course will include various CNS disorders, including stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, drug abuse, and cardiovascular complications.
