CMAT or Common Management Admission Test is a National-Level MBA entrance exam widely accepted in over 1500 colleges around the world for full-time MBA/PGDM degree programs. National Test Agency (NTA), Department of Higher Education (Government of India) is the nodal agency that conducts CMAT exam annually for admission to MBA or PGDM courses at B-Schools throughout India.
CMAT Question Paper is divided into five sections (Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship) consists of 100 multiple type questions with a 180 minutes time limit. Exam mode is CBT (Computer Based Test). The total marks in the CMAT exam is 500.
The new section named – Innovation and Entrepreneurship, introduced as an optional section carrying 25 questions.
AICTE affiliated colleges / institutes accept CMAT scores to select the right candidates for admission to the management courses.

Till 2018, CMAT exam was conducted by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education). Since 2019, NTA is conducting CMAT.
CMAT-2022 exam will be conducted by NTA. The official notification for CMAT 2022 is likely to be released soon by the conducting authority – NTA.

Aspirants can attempt the CMAT-2022 exam in only one mode – CBT (Computer Based Test). There is no offline (paper based) mode available.

2. CMAT 2022 test question paper will have two separate time duration for the aspirants who have chosen 5 section exams and for those who have chosen 4 section exams.
3. Time duration for candidates opted for 4 sections (namely Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness) – 3 Hrs.
4. Time duration for Candidates opted for 5 section – 3Hrs 30 Minutes.

CMAT 2022 exam Application form will be available once the official notification is released by NTA. Exam application can be filled only via online mode. A candidate needs to visit the application link and then submit the application form by filling up their personal details as per application form requisites.

The CMAT exam registration process is done online. The CMAT 2022 application form will be available on the NTA’s official website. To take the exam, candidates must fill out an online application form. The following stages will be involved in the CMAT registration and application process:
1. Visit https://cmat.nta.nic.in/
2. Click on the “Online Registration” tab. Register yourself first by entering Name, DOB, Email ID and contact number
3. To create CMAT account and user ID, You need to confirm registration through e-mail / OTP
4. Now, fill the online CMAT 2022 application from by providing your personal as well as academic details
5. Click “Next” then you will be asked to upload passport size photo and scanned signature as per the instruction already given in the notification.
6. Do the payment of CMAT 2022 registration by using either credit or debit card, or online banking
It is expected that the admit card for CMAT 2022 exam would be available from February 20, 2022.
How to Download CMAT 2022 Admit Card
Note: No hard copy of the Admit card shall be sent by the concerned authority.
Results for the CMAT 2022 exam are made public on NTA’s official website. Candidates can check their results from March 20, 2022. However, it takes one or two weeks just after the exam to declare results.
How to check the CMAT Result
Cut off marks varies year-after-year and is published after the result. It is released every year. CMAT 2022 Cut off marks will be released by the participating colleges. Cut-offs is the minimum scores that are required for admission to MBA/PGDM in the participating colleges

The validity of CMAT 2022 score card is for one academic session 2022-2023 only. There are more than 1000 colleges that accept CMAT scores. A candidate can get admission into the current session as long as the CMAT score is valid.

Counselling for CMAT 2022-2023 will be done by the individual college who accept CMAT score. A candidate must note that there is no centralised common counselling for admission through CMAT.
