INC Introduces Entrance Exam for B.Sc. Nursing Admissions 2025

In a significant shift in the admission process, the Indian Nursing Council (INC) has announced a new requirement for aspiring B.Sc. Nursing students. For the first time ever, a mandatory common entrance exam will be conducted for admission to the B.Sc. Nursing program for the academic year 2025-26.

The Indian Nursing Council (INC) has released Notification-1 on 13 Jan 2025, outlining the admission process and schedule for the B.Sc. (Nursing) program for the academic year 2025-26.

Key Dates for the BSc Nursing Admission for Academic Year 2025-26:

  • Entrance Exams to be completed before June 15th, 2025
  • Academic Session Begins from August 1st, 2025.
  • Last Date for Admission is September 30th, 2025.

BSc Nursing New Admission Process 2025:

  • Common Entrance Examination: Admissions to B.Sc. Nursing programs will be granted based on your performance in a Common Entrance Examination conducted by the respective State Government Common Entrance Cell or University.
