KEA Releases UGNEET 2025 Karnataka State Merit List
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has officially released the UGNEET 2025 State Merit List for candidates who have declared Karnataka as their domicile in their NEET-UG 2025 application. This provisional list is a key step in the medical and AYUSH counselling process and determines candidate eligibility for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS seats across Government, Private, and Minority institutions in Karnataka.
The merit list provides essential details such as NEET Roll Number, All India Rank (AIR), and NEET Score. The highest scorer among Karnataka domicile candidates has secured a NEET score of 670, with thousands of others eligible across varied score ranges.

Admissions to MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH UG courses (BAMS, BHMS, BUMS) in Karnataka are conducted through three main counselling authorities, based on the type of seat and course:
1οΈ. KEA NEET Medical & AYUSH State Counselling
For Courses: MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS
Eligible Candidates: All NEET qualified candidates
Organized by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) for:
- Government seats in Government and Private Colleges (including GMP, Private Quota for domicile candidates)
- 15% AIQ Seats for Non-Karnataka Candidates in Private Colleges
- Private seats in Private Colleges (including Management & NRI Quota)
π KEA is the central authority for medical and AYUSH seat allotment in Karnataka state quota seats.
Β 2. AACCC Counselling 2025
For Courses: BAMS, BHMS, BUMS
Eligible Candidates: All NEET qualified candidates
Conducted by AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) for:
- All India Quota (AIQ) 15% seats in Government AYUSH colleges
- 100% seats in Deemed Universities and Central Institutions
π Non-Karnataka students seeking government AYUSH colleges in Karnataka must register through AACCC.
3. MCC Medical Counselling 2025
For Courses: MBBS, BDS
Eligible Candidates: All NEET-qualified candidates across India
Conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for:
- 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in Government MBBS/BDS colleges.
- 100% seats in Deemed Medical & Dental Universities.
- Seats in Central Institutions (like AIIMS, JIPMER etc)
π― If you’re a Non-Karnataka candidate aiming for MBBS/BDS seats in Karnataka Government colleges or Deemed Universities, register under MCC UG Counselling.
β Important Instructions for Candidates
- Only NEET-qualified students are eligible for MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH admissions.
- Counselling for AYUSH (BAMS/BHMS/BUMS) also follows the same merit and reservation process.
- NRI and Management Quota seats in private colleges will also be allotted through KEA counselling.
- Verification of documents is mandatory and will be announced soon.
