The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced an extension of the registration deadline for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026). Candidates can now submit their applications until February 24, 2026 through the official website – cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

This extension provides aspiring students with more time to complete their applications, ensuring that no eligible candidate misses the opportunity to appear for the exam.

Who Should Apply for KEA KCET 2026?

KCET 2026 is a state-level entrance exam for candidates seeking admission into Engineering, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, and other professional courses in Karnataka.

Eligibility Criteria:

✔ Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed or be appearing for Class 12 (PUC-II) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology.
✔ Domicile Requirement: Only candidates who are residents of Karnataka or fulfill the eligibility clauses of KEA can apply.
✔ Minimum Marks: Engineering aspirants must score at least 45% in PCM (40% for reserved categories).

How to Apply for KCET 2026?

Candidates can follow these steps to complete their KCET 2026 registration:

3️⃣ Register using a valid email ID and phone number.
4️⃣ Fill in personal, academic, and contact details.
5️⃣ Upload scanned copies of photograph, signature, and required documents.
6️⃣ Pay the application fee online.
7️⃣ Submit the application and take a printout for future reference.
