Admission to MBA in Christ University is fundamentally based on the performance of the candidates in the CAT, MAT, GMAT, XAT, etc management exams. However, apart from the performance in exams, there are two phases under the selection process – Selection I & Selection II.
Selection Process for MBA in Christ University – Overview
There are two sessions of the selection process conducted in Christ for MBA admission. Usually, the first selection process takes place during January, and the second one occurs in March. It’s always best to apply for the first selection process because by chance, if you don’t get selected there, you can still apply for the second process which takes place in March.
Each of you will be grouped into ten groups and given a topic on which you will be expected to talk for two minutes. The extempore topics will be given to you two weeks before the event so you can prepare. The group discussion will follow the extempore. These two processes are simply to check your communication skills and your confidence level. If you get selected for the group discussion, you will be called for a personal interview the next day. Once that’s done, you’ll have a personal interview, which you can clear easily, and you’ll get the results in two weeks.

Christ MBA Admission Selection Process 2022 – Step by Step process
A Christ University MBA Selection Process is mandatory for students seeking admission to Christ University’s MBA program.
Below is the step-be-step selection process for better understanding.
Step 1 – Entrance Exam
The first and the foremost step of the Christ MBA selection process is to crack any one of the management entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, GMAT, and GRE. The score of the entrance exam held in 2021 & 2022 shall be valid for the admission to MBA in Christ University. Students qualified in the entrance exam (mentioned above) will be called for Step-2 i.e. Group Discussion which is of 30 minutes duration.
Step-2 Group Discussion
The purpose of Group Discussion (GD) is to assess the student’s communication skills. Each student is divided into a group of 10 students and is given a topic to speak about. It’s a bit easy but students are required to be careful what they are talking to. Be clear and speak loudly. A student must prepare a topic on its own before going to attend Group Discussion.
Duration = 30 minutes
Step – 3 Micro Presentations (MP) & Personal Interview (PI)
At this step, you have to make a presentation on one of the 75 topics mentioned in the admission process. You should give a presentation for a minimum of two minutes and the prevention should be direct and simple. You need to prepare well for the micro presentation, as most candidates will be well prepared.
After successful completion of MP, a student is called for a Personal interview. Questions in PI address your core concepts and general knowledge. This step is generally easy to qualify.

Step-4 Academic Performance
A passing score on an entrance exam is just a qualifying score to be eligible for an MBA program. Christ University MBA admission 2022 is based upon your performance in above rounds, as well as your academic performance in Class 10th, Class 12th, and Graduation. Candidates must keep ready scanned copies of class 10, class 12, and degree marks card before applying for MBA admission in Christ University for the academic year 2022-2023.
