Science stream is one of the most coveted streams of study in India. It is also the second-largest stream in terms of student enrollment at the undergraduate level, according to AISHE report 2019. The report states that 16.5 % of students enrolled at the undergraduate level are enrolled in Science. However, in the higher-level courses, science stream ranked first.
