Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling 2022 Updates: Registration, Eligibility & More!

Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling 2022 and the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Tamil Nadu has released the application form for Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2022 admission for MBBS or BDS Degree courses, and only NEET qualified candidates can apply and participate in Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling 2022.

The candidates who belong to management and government quota, and candidates have time till 5 pm on October 3 to submit their online applications. Also, the scorecard of NEET-UG will be accepted by the various government and private medical or dental Institutions of Tamil Nadu.

Tamil Nadu NEET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

All interested candidates must meet the following basic eligibility criteria for taking part in the Tamil Nadu NEET counseling 2022 process. Students are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying for the application.

Age Limit Students should have completed 17 years of age
General Eligibility He/ she must be a citizen of India or a candidate to obtain a minimum of marks at the 50th percentile in NEET.
Qualification Students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other backward Classes, obtain 40 percentile in the examination.
Nativity Certificate  Candidates who have completed their schooling from Class 6 to 12 from the state of Tamil Nadu.
Domicile candidates Students partially or fully completed schooling from Class 6 to 12 from outside of the state.
Students from other states Those students who are living in Tamil Nadu and have studied in Tamil Nadu will only be considered for admission under the open category and not the state quota.

 

Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling 2022 Application Process

  • At first, the candidate must visit the official website
  • Second, students should fill out the form online on the official website and submit the filled-in online application form or you can upload the details in the required fields. 
  • After that students have to pay the cost of the application form, which is Rs.500 or should be paid through the Bank payment portal on the websites or through the Demand Draft.
  • Then, Students will have to undergo Document Verification, fee submission, and reporting.
  • After this, candidates can either go for the up-gradation or surrender the seat.
  • The student is eligible to participate in the Mop-up round if, after the 2nd round, there is no allotment happened.
