MD Ayurveda Samhita & Siddhanta course is a masters level course in Ayurvedic medicine. It provides specialisation in Basic Principles of Ayurveda as described in Samhitas or Classical texts. This branch is considered the most important branch of Ayurveda. MD Ayurveda admissions to this branch are done on basis of AIAPGET entrance exam conducted by NTA. MD Ayurveda Samhita and Siddhanta course is a post-Graduate course. Admissions 2022 to PG Ayurveda courses are to be done on through AIAPGET Entrance 2022. AIAPGET is an all India level exam conducted by NTA, once a year. Merit quota admissions are based on scores obtained in AIAPGET exam and seat allotment in PG AYUSH counselling. Management quota seats are also made available by various Ayurvedic medical colleges throughout Karnataka. Management Quota admissions are done on a limited number of seats on a first come first serve basis.
